Hello everyone. So sorry for the lack of posts this summer. We have been so busy, but we thought its about time to bring you up to date.
This summer has seen the introduction of Samphire Barn holiday let to our business. It took us about 12 weeks of really hard work, with the help of some great tradesmen to pull ceilings down, put in new electrics, plumbing, bathroom, rebuilding and decorating, but we got there in the end. It was well worth the effort as the barn was fully booked throughout the summer. It looks and feels sumptuous. In fact its so nice we daren’t move back into it and mess it up, so it is available all winter for a break, including Christmas and New Year.
As we have moved downstairs in the property we needed something to contain our office, so we set about restoring and painting a lovely antique glass fronted bookshelf just for us. We even got creative and made a copper piping balustrade to go around the staircase making it safe for little visitors and only last week we had a brand new log burner installed so it is now super cosy throughout the winter.

So, due to being so busy this summer, the furniture has taken a bit of a back seat, but we are now back to it. We have started to renovate the workshop and have some lovely exciting new pieces displaying at Fat Apples Cafe, Porthallow, TR12 6QH.
